It’s not easy to find the right guitar instructor for yourself or your child.  Many students interested in learning the instrument lose interest or stop making progress because they lack the right instruction.

I believe the best approach to teaching is by creating a student-oriented, customized lesson plan that caters to the interests and goals of the student while also providing a strong structural foundation in technique and music theory.   I focus on creating a comfortable and enjoyable teaching environment where the student can make substantial progress while also finding enjoyment through exploring their creativity on the instrument.

The Right Teacher for You

I have extensive experience working with students of all ages and experience levels.  I use a structured approach to teaching that creates a strong musical foundation while also incorporating flexibility and fluidity to meet the student’s specific style of learning.

I work with students interested in a wide variety of genres at all different levels of skill.  Whether you’re picking up the instrument for the first time, or a long time player looking to get past that next hurdle in your technique, I can fashion a lesson plan that helps you reach your goals and become the player you want to be.

I have over five years of experience teaching students of all different ages and experience levels.  I am classically trained with a degree from California State University, Northridge, and also have extensive experience in contemporary music styles such as rock, metal, blues, country, and more.  I work full time as a professional performer, composer, and educator out here in Los Angeles, CA.
